Meet the Captain

Captain “Jim” is no stranger to the Portland waterfront.  He has worked on boats here since he was 11 years old.  Starting with Capt. Dick Yates on the Lazy Days.  Working with Capt. Dan Libby on the Indian II.  Capt. Jim has held a 100 Ton Merchant Marine Masters license for over 20 years.  Working as captain for Deep Sea Fishing, whale watching, and corporate yachts along the coast of Maine.  He is also a Dive Master and Rescue Diver and has fished and dove around the world.  His sea stories, local knowledge, and adventures will amaze you.  Ask him about the whale rescue, many television shows, or huge fish he has caught.  You will feel his passion for what he does.
